 Home Renovation Tax Credit
Have a security system installed by Reliance Protectron in 2009 and include the cost of installation and equipment* towards your Home Renovation Tax Credit (HRTC) eligible expenses!
The Canadian government announced the implementation of a temporary tax credit for 2009 as an incentive for home owners interested in making some renovations and upgrades to their residence this year. The credit is applicable to expenditures for work that is performed (security system installation) or goods acquired (security system equipment) between January 27, 2009 and January 31st, 2010. A list of examples of eligible expenses, including home security systems, can be viewed on Canada Revenue Agency’s website.
