POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the incumbent will handle dispatching and follow up for commercial installations and also will perform administrative follow up necessary to close and invoice installation orders.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSABILITIES:

- Take calls from all employees involved in installation;
- Assign commercial installation work to installers and contractors on the basis of their availability and skills;
- Confirm equipment availability with the shop;
- Confirm appointments with clients;
- Schedule appointments and enter related information on the SBN (Schedule Board)
- Respond to sales consultant requests for installation dates;
- Respond to client information requests
- Provide support to contractors when questions and problems arise during installations
- Forward work orders to the shop for preparation of needed equipment
- Determine contractor availability on a weekly basis and enter it in the SBN
- Follow up on pending installations and record their status
- Intervene as necessary, depending on the reason for the delay
- Call clients who are waiting for installations

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Completed College Diploma in Business Administration or a related field is required.
- 1-3 years experience as a service or installation dispatcher coupled with 2 years experience in a position involving managing administrative files or; 3 to 5 years experience in an installation or technical support of alarm systems role. However, any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft office and the Internet
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of satisfaction.
