Title :   Technical Support Operator

Available positions :    

Schedule :  

Full time - 7 days on / 7 days off (10 hours shifts).  Must be available days, nights and weekends. 


Status :   Permanent

Reports to :   Monitoring Station Supervisor

Branch :    Ottawa

Responsabilities :  

Under the supervision of the monitoring station supervisor, the employee provides technical support to subscribers, service installers, as well as contractors.

  • - Trouble Shooting
  • - Receive customer calls and help them with their technical issues regarding their alarm system.
  • - Identify the nature of the technical problem and request a service call if necessary
  • - Dispatch calls to technicians when necessary
  • - Place alarm systems in test mode for Technicians
  • - Create new surveillance files for urgent matters when issues are out of regular business hours
  • - Treat incoming alarm signals when monitoring station queue is full
  • - Downloading of alarm system panels
  • - All other tasks requested by immediate supervisor.

 


Qualifications :  
  • - Customer service experience;
  • - Team player;
  • - Bilingualism is required (English / French)
  • - High school diploma;
  • - Flexible & Adaptable;
  • - Great interpersonal skills;
  • - Availabilities to work days, evenings and week-ends;
